Places to Ride in and around Citrus County

Citrus County has many bike paths and trails.  Here are just three of them.  The Withlacoochee State Trail is 47 paved miles long and spans 3 counties.  It runs the entire length of Citrus County. The Crystal River State Preserve, located off US 19 on Curtis Tool Rd., is 8 miles of winding unimproved trail through Florida's jungle . In March of 1999 the Ft. Island Gulf Beach Trail was completed.  This 18 mile trail takes you through some of the most pristine coastal estuaries in the state while on your way to the beach.  Click on the maps below to download the pdf formatted maps.
